My life has been quite eventful so far. I moved abroad at an early age, where I had many wonderful experiences over the years.

My career in the travel industry, working in IT marketing, took me to many different countries. I got to know numerous nationalities, cultures, and traditions and met a wide variety of people, some of whom have remained close friends to this day.

2006 was an incredibly exciting year. Against all odds, I became pregnant at the age of 44, and in December, my wonderful daughter came into the world. Somehow, this marked a true turning point in my life. Although I had already lived a healthy lifestyle, exercised, and taken good care of myself, a whole new dimension opened up at that moment. I was now responsible for this little life — for her development and for giving her the best possible start in this world. I was fortunate to dedicate six — far too short — years entirely to caring for my child. What a fantastic opportunity it was to experience those first, crucial years of her development so closely.

During this time, I immersed myself in the study of healthy nutrition, explored child psychology, and became something of an expert on all things baby-related. We were introduced to homeopathy thanks to our naturopathically oriented paediatrician, who always took the time to listen to my concerns and discuss with me the best approaches to maintaining my young child’s health. Up until then, such an experience with a conventional medical doctor had been quite rare.

However, the true catalyst for my path into healing came with my own cancer diagnosis. In 2012, a colorectal carcinoma in an advanced stage was discovered by chance. An odyssey began. The gap between conventional medicine and naturopathy seemed immense. I encountered physicians who treated me with genuine care, while others saw me merely as another diagnosis — case X. How deeply I would have wished for someone to accompany me on a human, compassionate level.

And so I made the decision to deepen my understanding of the human being in all their complexity.

Ayurveda was my first approach to entering the world of naturopathy. A very fascinating field, officially recognised by the WHO as a legitimate healing system, Ayurveda offered me countless new insights. It opened up a broad spectrum — from herbal medicine and nutrition to psychological aspects. And yet, somewhere along the way, I felt a lack of deeper background knowledge.

In 2016, another opportunity crossed my path: I was able to relocate with my company from France to Germany. With that, the decision was made — I wanted to become a licensed alternative practitioner (Heilpraktikerin).

The journey took a little longer, as family life, work, and household duties filled much of my days.

Starting in 2017, I completed a three-year training programme at the Union Deutscher Heilpraktiker (UDH) school in Schöneck. During the pandemic, I added another year of intensive training and later worked with a coach to prepare for my final exam in March 2023. In May 2023, after successfully passing the oral examination, I was officially licensed as a Heilpraktikerin (licensed alternative practitioner).

Since then, I have continued my education: gut health was destined to become one of my main focuses, as I have a great deal of personal experience to contribute. I also have a special interest in supporting women through menopause, as well as addressing one of today’s most pressing issues — stress. In addition to specialised training in these areas, I am a certified holistic energy massage therapist and trained in Therapeutic Women’s Massage (TFM). My services are further complemented by courses in Autogenic Training and Progressive Muscle Relaxation.

Since September 2024, I have had my own practice in Friedrichsdorf, where I am dedicated to providing my patients with the compassionate support I once wished for myself in 2012.
